Empathie Ensemble Pour Toujours - Bracelet Set - Paris Collection 1

1 Quantity = 2 bracelets.

Ada truly outdid herself with this one. Empathie ensemble pour toujours is French for "Empathy Together Forever". This set of two bracelets mirror one another in silver or gold. Each bracelet contains a charm that is one half of a heart. These charms are magnets that, when close, snap together, depict two hands with their pinkies curled around one another (like that of a "pinkie swear"), and form the word "Forever".

Most of the stones (e.g., black hearts) and the charm were collected in Paris, France. Ada was very excited to create these bracelets, and they are her favorite piece thus far. This piece stands for empathy that is shared between two people and how they can then become one. These bracelets can only be bought as a set so that they can be shared between two people -- like they are depicted with a couple of Ada's stuffed animals (in photo).

Only 3 sets total will be created.

Arc de Triomphe Empathie - Paris Collection 1

These bracelets are a part of the French Empathie Collection 1. Empathie is French for empathy. And the Arc de Triomphe means Arch of Triumph of the Star. It can symbolize an empathy across time, as it was built to frame the sunset twice each year. There is also empathy with those who designed it over the course of 30 years and with the people it depicts in hundreds of sculptures of scenes from throughout French history, both their collective hardships and spiritual triumphs.

Ada designed this bracelet to consist of various stones that are a color of the French flag. She wanted this piece to reflect star shaped beams to represent this arch's name and symbolism. She also wanted to include stones with gold trims brought directly from Paris, France to provide authenticity and respect for their culture. And last, she wanted bear shaped glass, because well... it's just more fun. The hope is that any who wear it will be drawn to triumph through empathy toward others, past and present.

CARD-empathy

These bracelets are the first edition of the Higher Ed Empathy collection. This glimmering style matches moods, emotions that are a key component of empathy -- feeling what others feel. These ones were inspired by a trip to see that last basketball game of the season for Stanford University, where the original empathic mindset research was conducted. They won in the few minutes. This is empathy for and from the seniors, a wearable symbol of joy. Red is globally associated with power and triumph like what was felt that day. The red stones are from Georgia and the white and clear ones are from Aquidneck Island, an island off the coast of Rhode Island.

This jewelry designed by Ada is inspired by an "empathic mindset". Experimental research (randomized placebo-controlled field experiments) published in the National Academies of Sciences shows that an empathic mindset can mitigate historic societal inequities like access to education (2016).

Modern Metro Empathy Necklace

This bracelet is the second addition to the Modern Metro Empathy collection. This classic yet modern metro style strategically integrates ivory and navy straightedged stones -- like tiles in a subway station -- from with scattered golds and yellows from Georgia to reflect light like the many minds and perspectives that pass through metro lines everyday. These pieces are purposefully asymmetrical like the modern styles in the 2020s in streetwear fashion from African to Asian to Western cultural trends and artifacts.

This limited edition collection is one of the latest in the line of jewelry by AdArts, a combination of a 7 year old's designs and research on an "empathic mindset". Experimental research (randomized placebo-controlled field experiments) published in the National Academies of Sciences shows that an empathic mindset can mitigate historic societal inequities like access to education (2016). The Principal Investigator who created and tested the idea explained it to Ada, and she designed this jewelry line to spread its effects with others throughout the world.

Celestial Empathy Bracelets and Necklaces

This line of handmade Nigerian designed bracelets and necklaces is a part of the African Ode collection with brilliant stones from Rhode Island and Georgia in colors of clouds, stars, and silver linings. The pattern is designed to highlight angels and other celestial beings, all of which are known for a spiritual level of empathy, a key component of Esan faith. Esan is a small tribe in south central Nigeria. Ada is the youngest member of the Esan tribe in the United States.

This celestial subset of the African Ode collection took Ada approximately 5 days to design based on Dr. Jason Okonofua's description of Celestial Empathy, a special kind of perspective-taking that is spiritual in nature. Research shows that across the major religions there lies a message of empathy, listening, and kindness for kindness sake. This kind of empathy draws on powerful beliefs in faith, science, and intuition to provide a mindfulness that is seemingly automatic or implicit. This is marked in the translucent way the stones bend light as it passes through. The theme is developed from research from Stanford University and published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

Personalizable Brilliance Empathy Bracelet

This handmade bracelet took Ada approximately 3 hours to design based on Dr. Jason Okonofua's description of Shiny Empathy, a presentation kind of perspective-taking that looks to understand how and why people present the way they do. Research evidences that we possess a limited amount of executive function, the neurological capacity for self-presentation. This is often overlooked and thus an underestimated space for empathy. This is marked in the brilliant rays of colors and wavelengths that bounce around the bracelet in varying light. The theme is developed from research at Stanford University and published by the National Academy of Sciences.
