Empathie Louvre - Paris Collection 2

$19.00 - $25.00
These bracelets are a part of the French Empathie Collection 2. Empathie is French for empathy. And the play on the word "love" with the word "love" as an ode to the place that inspired Ada for these artworks, the Louvre Museum in Paris, France. It symbolizes a structural empathy, for example, one upon which one can set a foundation. The word "louvre" means angular slates in construction, and Ada ventured to encapsulate this structure in the stones and gems she selected and purchased in Paris, France. She chose bluish clear stones to depict the glass and gray angular stones to symbolize the metal beams.

Ada went on to model the original bracelet at the Louvre Museum. The hope is that any who wear it will share the love for art and history found for ages at the Louvre Museum.
